It's christmas time, and Victoria's Secret has made this funny commercial starring their own pretty angels. 

Emerald Green

Emerald Green is named the color of the year of 2013 in the US. In Norway this was the color of 2012. Maybe the Pantone company which decides the color of the year have gotten some inspiration from the red carpet? These lovely ladies are definitely pulling the color off, without a doubt. If you have olive colored skin, chocolate brown hair, this color will most likely suit you. Just look at these four fine women.

Kim Kardashian look really good in this emerald green velvet dress, but the v-neck is a bit down low for her curvy shape I think. But look how beautiful Angelina looks in this long sleeve gown, and her styling is so pretty. I would really like to have Angelina Jolie's dress in my closet. Which dress do you like the most?

I simply just love the leather jacket. It goes with almost everything, an it can dress up or dress down an outfit. You can wear it to a dress, jeans, skirt, shorts etc. This season I've been on the lookout for the quilted leather jacket, it's so classic and chic. I just love Ashley Bensons version in this picture below. Maybe it'll be mine soon *wishing*

She is just 20 years old, but she has walked down miles of catwalks for the most exclusive designers and she has been on the cover and editorials in one of the most famous magazines.

The Beauty Department

If you haven't heart of it yet, it's probably about time you do. 

The Beauty Department is a blog filled with tips and tricks about beauty, hair and makeup. The founders of the blog are Lauren Conrad from The Hills and her makeup artist Amy Nadine and hairdresser Kristin Ess. I remember I always used to watch The Hills, and even Laguna Beach. I loved everything about LC (Lauren Conrad) her hair, makeup styling and outfits. She has such a nice personality too, even though some of it was purely set up to entertain. Eyebrows

I think eyebrows are some of the most important features of the face. When you have good eyebrows it's so easy to put on makeup, end even look fresh without makeup. Just by brushing them, put on some eyebrow powder and an eyebrow gel, you're good to go.

Eye Cream Tips

So that's why my eye cream doesn't work!? I have used Clinique's Eye Cream for over a year, and I haven't noticed any change. Maybe it's because I put it all over and under my eyelids. 

I always put it on at night, in desperation to look fresh in the morning.

What is your favorite Eye Cream?

Now I'm off to bed, after almost 12 hours with on and off exam preparations.

Nail it!

I love to paint my nails in all different kind of colors. Sometimes I just wear nail polish and no accessories. My all time favorite nail polish brands are Essie and Deborah Lippman. Essie has the best, and I mean THE best brush. Essie also have a wide range of colors and the polish sets very nice. What I love about the nail polish from Deborah Lippman is that they come in so many different colors, and glitter! The glitter ones are amazing, but very hard to get off when your sick of glittery nails. I use to buy my polish at Beauty Bay, the price is OK and the shipment takes no time at all. I believe you can find all these different colors at Beauty Bay, but some may be out of stock.

Winter Decorations

December is coming up soon, and I decided to decorate my living-room tables a bit. I have placed two white hyacinths in a tea light holder each. Hyacinths are so pretty when they blossom and they smell really nice. The white tray is actually from IKEA. In between I've used decorative cones, christmas balls, snow crystals and hearts from the fantastic interior boutique Riviera Maison.

What do you think?

I bought this tray at a Interior store in Norway called "Living", I've decorated with more cones, snow crystals and hearts in addition to the knitting and woody candles.

I never really liked decorating like this, but now that I have moved out from my parents house, I get the chance to me creative in my own way. 

I'm so looking forward to December, Christmas vacation and New Years Eve.

Winter Fashion

Winter, and especially December, is one of my favourite times a year. Snow, Christmas, candles, comfortable knits, cosy nights by the fireplace and hot chocolate are some of the things I love about this season. Of course it's freaking cold, but then you'll have to be creative and dress by the weather. Wool coats, knitted sweaters, boots, furry hats, lambswool scarves and wool stockings, make the winter fashion so pretty. Just think about the girls in Gossip Girl, oh my they can dress!
